So, I’m finally back home. While I’m certainly glad to be sleeping in my own bed after a month of dorm living, the past month has been the best time of my life. I met so many cool people and saw so many cool things, I’d give anything to do it over again. Basically there’s too much to sum up with words. On the flip side, now that I’m finally back, I feel like I have so much to do in such little time. School basically starts in a month:!: Hopefully the next nine months will be a wild ride. At this point in my life I have began to feel that sense of nostalgia, as cliche as that sounds. Spending the past month away from home, experiencing college life makes a part of me not want to leave. Anyways here are few interesting points I thought I’d share:
- The Mall of America is ridiculously huge, you have to see it to believe it.
- No sales tax on clothes is freaking awesome!
- The unofficial state bird of Minnesota is the mosquito (if you’ve ever been there, you’ll know why).
- Minnesota is not all cornfields.
- Evening movie tickets cost $5
To get a more vivid perspective of my experience, check out the (very few) pics I have. Also I’d like to mention that I randomly ran into Amardeep at Logan International Airport. He also happened to have the same flight as me back to Detroit. It’s a small world after all. That’s all I have for now. I’m out (until I think of something interesting to say)
